Hey I hope so.. not sure if you remember the repo disaster in fall 2018.I worked in repo during that time.. the Feds actions were insane... the amount of money insane... fed was like a clueless idiot paying 100k for a 25k car and banks profiting... then you had the dec sell off in stocks that year... that’s when the fed did a total 180 from raising rates to lowering... the whole market was pricing forward paper for 3 rate hikes in 19.. instead we saw rates cut... then you had covid and right to 0... to me when fed loses control of rates is when I’d worry... Alsonmy worry here is that the financial reaction to covid could have long lasting effects.. also rates were kept low for way to long recovering from the 2008 crisis.. and the feds balance sheet tells a big story... track the fed balance sheet to the s and p 500.. with the stimulus passed Monday should be good.. let’s see if it gets sold into or not and let’s get amc back over 9
