Sounds like it was scary, not something you'd want to repeat.
I always thought flying a plane might be fun, until I was given the controls of a Cessna. Didn't enjoy it one bit.
My mother told us she never took a drivers test. She was grandfathered-in by having a license before our state started requiring operator testing. That was probably also true for my father who was older.
