My first impression of Jay Shafer is that he is a run of the mill lawyer who is happy to represent anyone seeking custodianship, for a fee of course. Probably rarely if ever had to wage battle in such instances.
Yes, you're right. He's filed tons of custodianship petitions. He doesn't have a dog in this fight; he just gets paid a fee for handling the paperwork.
So what's up with Clement Lockwood. Is he Adam Carter in disguise, a 'ghost come lately'?
That is the question. If you do an officer/director search for him at OpenCorporates, you'll come up empty. I'd be willing to bet Saga Raich hasn't met his client in person.
As you say, there's no point in paying legal fees for an uncertain outcome, if Clement would have responded to the initial summons SST would have likely just dropped the issue. But now we have another legal proceeding.
Yes, you're right. I think, though, that there's a good chance Mansour will just give up. He has a number of other shells to sell; he might as well concentrate on them.
Of course, it'd be interesting if Mansour were to direct Shafer to call Raich and ask some questions about "Lockwood", but probably even that won't happen.
