1000% agree! The curse in many ways is the OTC itself - with the pandemic, the number of newbie traders has skyrocketed, as here is where everyone is looking for sub-pennies to jump in and hopefully make a quick buck. All of this adds to the extreme volatility, as momentum traders will jump ship and move on to their next perceived pot under the rainbow - sadly, the majority of this kind of trading attitude typically results in losses.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I actually stopped trading OTC securities years ago, as I just got burned too many times - that said, a colleague of mine persuaded me to take a look here, and after thorough DD, I jumped in when the PPS was trading @ .0056 and have been accumulating ever since.
Unfortunately, very few people actually spend the required time to find those securities (especially on the OTC) that are truly worth a long term hold - as an example, I spent an enormous amount of time researching HGSI & CPXX when they were trading (before buyouts), and held through all the ups and downs, which included being ravaged by ongoing short sellers. I wasn't going to be deterred, as I knew what I was holding, kept accumulating when I could, and happily made an ENORMOUS return on both.
Granted, that both the referenced Biotechs were Nasdaq listed securities, and that's why a company like Therapeutic Solutions International, Inc. is such an extraordinary find here on the OTC - being introduced to TSOI when it was trading well below .01 was truly something remarkable, which is why I took advantage in a significant way. I sincerely believe (based on my 20 years plus experience with Biotech Companies) that those who take a long term view here will most likely reap the BIGGEST returns of their lives!
