Ana is not like other major pharmas in these ways:
NO R&D department
No debt interest payments
No huge organization-salaries

We will have minimal sales/marketing staff.

Why is this important?

Because this means we have MINIMAL expenses!!

MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF SALES DOLLARS DROP STRAIGHT TO BOTTOM LINE!!

If we are bought out, no company will be able to produce the Return On Investment, that Ana can deliver, if she is INDEPENDENT.

Agree w/all of this and would emphasize the structure which Dr.M. has in place works for them. All org (even us) are built around the skills and behavior of the members. The most important parts are the players themselves...the staff, the people. A good -effective manager understands and works with that concept.

SO, if AVXL got bought out then every thing is suddenly at risk. People get reorganized to FIT INTO the new company...POOF...AVXL IS GONE ...I have seen it happen. Lets hope they keep the current org in place for a long time.
