My 2 cents is probably worth .1 cent. The Covaxin issue is a side show for Ocugen. The main web page states Our mission is to develop Gene Therapies to cure Blindness. The purpose of teaming with BB is to fund this mission. I don't think thay will offer anywhere near the 95M. But if thay have 20-30M shares to offer when/if this pops the hundreds of millions of dollars would fund a world class lab, top talent and and drug trials. This deal with BB could develop into a long term relationship also. I recived a Priority Mail envelope from Ocugen asking for my proxy. And I will give it. To say no would kill the mission and suck.
This additional 95 million is for authorized shares not issued. They have not issued a prospective to request actually issuing these shares. They’ve laid out exactly what they may use these shares for in the future - All of which would bring long term value for shareholders. The mindset that companies like this are just diluting is not logical, this is literally how biotechs function to bring value. This isn’t a fake penny stock just trying to sell shares.
