Well, first a few things to consider. Says Covid positive so who knows if any of the "uncomfortable" was from that. Secondly, "a lot" of vitamin C could produce the "heartburn" since it is very acidic.

I take 4 gm V each day and have done so for almost 3 years and never experienced such effects. Not even sure that in Reduce-It, heartburn may not have even been one of the side effects, but someone may be able to look that up.

Funny how they mentioned the combination of Vascepa and Vitamin C

and blame Vascepa for the heartburn

when a lot of Vitamin C is known to cause heartburn

seems like they have an unfounded bias against Vascepa

Dmlcento..., I’ve been taking Vascepa since it hit the pharmacy shelves, most mornings on an empty stomach and lot of the time four at once. I’ve never experienced any heartburn, fish burp or other gastrointestinal discomfort.
I’m not sure why you experienced this but you’re the first to report it I believe.

Not sure how much sense the tweet makes anyway...... the person was diagnosed with Covid so they started taking lots of Vitamin C and Vascepa? Doctors don't just prescribe Vascepa out of the blue. Was the person already on V and ten started taking lots of vitamin C ? If so, well duh! Do they also squeeze a fresh lemon into their glass of milk?

That's total BS - how did he get a V scrip for COVID? The "fish oil" gives it away too. And high dose Vit C on an empty stomach is just begging for GI problems.
