My question (like lots of my questions), springs from my ignorance of the process, specifically the meaning of "standard of care". I wasn't aware that it could vary from trial site to trial site, involving a variety of treatments. And now I come to find that the clinicaltrial.gov trial register can't be relied upon to reveal the SOC.

Can you confirm that this understanding is true?
Whatever the SOC may be at a given location an equal number of patients in the trial can be expected to receive it (or have received it previously).


BTW, I don't think the underlined bit of this was ever stated by the Company:
"the B trial adds B or placebo to the standard of care, Remdesivir plus steroids."
