So I read the AccessWire article and I am hoping the writer is the issue and not our people. So for starters I am in Commercial Real Estate and not sure why we need 120 acres for 25,000 sf initial and 75,000 sf next phase. Pretty sure outdoor growing in Michigan does not work well. You could likely build 1.5 million + sf of warehouse (indoor grow facilities) on this site assuming a very low (25%) FAR coverage ratio. If 25,000 sf yields 6,000 pounds annually that would equate to 1.5 million sf yielding 360,000 pounds on full buildout to sell in Michigan. With competing growers the wholesale price would be ($250 to $350 a pound, estimated probably lower?). That brings me to issue #2 If 25,000 sf yields 6,000 lbs annually, there is no way 6,000 lbs if 25,000 sf or 18,000 lbs if 75,000 sf generates 21,000,000, 44,000,000 or 65,000,000 annually. It does not compute more like $2,100,000 for 6,000 lbs and $6,300,000 for 18,000 lbs annually.
