So that is a false statement. It wasn’t sold to institutional investors. A portion was sold to an institution. If the entire round was bought up by institutions that is very different would be perceived differently.

The other point is buying into this deal was different than the deals when they were on the OTC. The disclosure documents were much more lenient for this round so you didn’t have to meet the normal “accredited” investor criteria.

Why does this matter? If institutions are participating 100% of rounds in a financing they are much more likely to support the company down the road should they need more financing. You will also have other institutions possible interested because it’s now on their radar. If you are just getting regular investors its perceived differently.

Bottom line it’s positive they have the money (it’s My opinion they screwed over shareholders by diluting to this extent at this valuation) but now and it’s up to management to use it wisely so the company succeeds.
