Imo she literally is the perfect person for the job, and fits right into that cabinet policy-wise. The democrats want her, they will probably get her. Ted Cruz is just pulling a publicity stunt. Imo she gets in. Like you said, it’s good either way.
You know... I'm wrong on this.. the oddsmakers Do have her at only about 33% to get 67 votes or more. I took that to mean that's what was needed for confirmation.
I'm not sure of that though.. It may be 60 votes or it may be simple majority. Not sure.
Either way, I think we're good... but it's just something to follow... The fact that everyone in RI is encouraging her to go on and step down makes it seem like they're pretty sure she'll get it, so maybe I just made a bad assumption about there being a 67 vote threshold.
