Gina needs a simple majority in a Democrat controlled Senate. It's about as slam dunk as you're going to get.

There was a rule change in 2013. Only a simple majority of 51 votes is needed for confirmation of cabinet nominees. In the event of a tie the vice president gets the tie-breaking vote, not that it appears that will be necessary. So it's looking good for Gina's confirmation once we get past the current roadblock.
