I bet a PFE, AZN, AMGN, GLD, GSK drug rep would not have the same issues. The first obstacle an Amarin rep has to overcome is "Amarin who"? Then they can talk about the drug. If its any of the large pharma reps I am sure the doctor will just ask for samples and prescribe away.
I remember there was a doctor on here several years ago that brought this up - tried to warn everyone about living in the ECHO chamber of IHUB and the realities of the world
Insurance coverage. Tried to get prescription for Vascepa filled, was offered Lovaza as a substitute. Generic wasn’t offered. Even told pharmacist that it was indicated for R-IT.
