Green energy is a farce . It's good but it takes classic energy to make the clean applications to produce clean energy. Think of Evo. My neighbor has an electric car and has to plug it in. Not realizing that the extra energy used to charge her car comes from classic sources. Not o lt that, but it pollutes on the front end more . May safe emissions while driving

A couple things of note: Solar & Windmills work fine in areas where the people running them have planned for inclement weather. Texas did not plan for inclement weather.

Also, Tx's electric problems really have very little to do with the windmills shutting down and MUCH more to do with them intentionally disconnecting from the rest of the US' electric grid in an attempt to avoid regulation.

Not surprisingly, when you avoid regulation, you tend to fail at things regulation would have forced you to plan for (like a polar vortex event).
