Texas doesn’t usually see this cold of temps so everything they have is outside unsheltered from the weather. In the north we spend alot of time and money tracing our lines with heat trace wire and insulation on water and condensate lines.. all our treaters have building enclosures as well as most of our compressors.. ill post a picture in a moment of a site i built for reference

You can see our compressors, treaters, separators and even select tanks are fully insulated and heat traced.. we rarely have to shut down for freezes due to this but we spend all winter fighting and repairing spots that do freeze. Generally it happens on recycle lines where water has been left idle in the line by an operator.
