Here is my opinion, Joe Dion the new CEO has worked significantly hard to involve first Nations in the oil and gas sector in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and bc. In the last decade many first Nation companies have opened and have become successful. I believe he wants to continue to help first Nations across North America by letting everyone have a piece of the pie. I could not agree more. Share the wealth of our natural resources.

The concept of sharing the wealth of natural resources amongst the First Nations first landowners by a FN managed (owned? I'm skeptical here) company is noble and laudable.

The concern is, ACRL's current property portfolio is greenfields (pre-discovery; heck, they haven't even done any significant work on their ground) and arguably of low geological merit (low probability of success, or discovery).

So, unless the new executive bring into ACRL new, more advanced projects (exploration/development properties and/or other business ventures) with greater, more immediate economic potential (and you'd have to ask at what cost), there is no added value from a First Nations executive. So, will they or won't they, or is this just a new window dressing...??

Why should a first nations-led management and Board of Directors change the market sentiment towards ACRL?
