Nope. When I "catch up" the post I did not close the tab, if I would like to do "something" with the post (open next message on a new tab) till I do not reach the last post.
After that, I "work" with the content (e.g. read the link included in the post or reply) ... I track the last, read post only. (So that post was not more than 5 minutes.)

you truly need a hobby

I have: investing ... and contrary to other hobbies I do not have to pay for it, it pays to me :-)
