In consideration of Highwayman's post it would seem like in most cases trial results are presented at technical conferences in less time than the 300 days suggested as the average for coverage in a Journal. I suspect that's normally the case. If we in fact have the Journal presentation first, I'd have to believe that if it came around 150 days from data lock it would be exceptional, 200 or more days more likely. I don't know precisely what day we're on, but I believe we're approaching 6 months since data lock was called, and far more since soft lock was done. I don't know if information available during the soft lock period could initiate the preparation of technical information that would be finalized in a journal publication, or if you couldn't count until the contractors provided their report to the company months later.

Last year by the time of the Annual Meeting Covid-19 had changed the way many things were being done. I'm not certain, but I believe that may have been the first time we heard the term soft lock used, if Covid prevented full data lock.

Dr. Liau in early September told a conference that she had yet to see the complete trial data. I would expect her to be the primary author of any technical paper, but I'm uncertain it's creation couldn't predate when she could see the final data. If we make the assumption she couldn't start until she saw the data, and that she saw it around mid September we're now approaching 5 months in which she could be working on it.

If we look at 300 days, it should fall some time in July if we base it on Mid September. ASCO falls in early June, Abstracts for it are due shortly, I believe the Abstracts are revealed a month or so before the conference. I still believe that we'll present at ASCO whether a Journal presentation is made before, or after it. TLD should be available before an ASCO Abstract is revealed. It may not be real soon, but I'd be willing to bet we'll get it by the next Annual Meeting, and probably before it.
