I don’t mind being in this neck of the woods. I will settle for $ 40 billion today! By the way on the lidar discussion. Also AMS/Osram is into photonics for lidar. I start to understand that lasers are a core component of many future devices. So watch out laser companies, e. Coherent and Lumentum.

Someone posted this link about Arm recently, I think it's a great read about how they've been disrupting mobile chip markets (low power!) and are now taking on the datacenter. In 2020 Arm did almost $2B in revenue and by 2028 they aim to have >90% of the mobile and embedded processor market, and >25% of datacenter and cloud (up from 5%).

By acquiring Arm, Nvidia is skating to where the puck is heading, to borrow a line from Gretzky. I don't know how the revenue opportunity in the markets LWLG is targeting compare to those of Arm (I suspect not nearly as large but I really don't know), but LWLG seems to me to be where the puck is heading and perhaps a bigger fish will skate its way there like Nvidia is doing. $40B would be bonkers right now for a company with zero revenue, but if some deals are announced and it looks like LWLG is in the sweet spot, maybe several billion could be a realistic acquisition price? I'm also fine with them staying independent and building a new powerhouse that expands into multiple markets.

Reality check: as I mentioned, LWLG has zero revenue. There are some encouraging breadcrumbs out there but no guarantee this will pan out. I think it will.
