RRX has so much potential!
In Belgium, annually there are 1,300,000 surgeries done. Let's say RecoveryRX is used in 10% of these surgeries with each patient recieving 3 Actipatches. That's 390,000 actipatches, for a tiny country.
Who knows, maybe RRX will be Biel´s best selling product?!

Pin, if RecoveryRx becomes a standard of care, I am not smart enough to calculate what that product alone could mean in terms of money.

I know JGD has mentioned how many surgeries are performed worldwide each year, but it is a staggering amount.

As you probably saw here on the board what Begins said as a real practitioner and the results he was seeing with his patients. Information on treatments that "work" probably moves quickly within the industry especially with the urgent need to get folks off high octane pain pills. Hence the training for DonJoy reps along with a dedicated sales force just for RecoveryRx.

Maybe it has been outlined here before what Standard of Care requires, if so I don't recall. Is it just an overall blanket acceptance of a product that works, is it some set of established criteria or maybe both?

In any case Standard of Care is a BIG deal that translates into a great deal of notoriety and income for BIEL.

Looks like RecoveryRX being introduced and starting to catch on with surgeons pinhigh.

If RecoveryRX becomes the Standard if Care you can bet Medical Insurance Coverage is NOT far behind.

If that happens we are taking Greenbacks baby !
