How much would it cost to have another facility produce the T-Cells elsewhere? Maybe they looked at the cost of production vs the cost to build their own and felt it was better to invest the money in the company.
Also, is there any reason that they can't be producing for other companies and generating income? I honestly don't know. It IS a qualified cGMP facility, so why not?
