They perhaps thought originally to just announce the TLD results in the conference. But after the meetings with their key opinion leaders, advisory boards, principal investigators, they learned it is better to publish the complete findings in the reputable journals. This from their collective wisdoms and experiences.
I think that is a wise move. Let AF questions the results with AF’s wisdom after that is published.
