Alm2 Iryokabu and I have both had several exchanges with the people running the trials and they are VERY AWARE of just how crucial their trials and data are and how they could have a global impact. There are strict trial protocols which prohibit them from divulging information so we have to respect their position. My understanding is that Argentina enrolled the last Pt in the preventative arm in mid December. Pts take the drug for 60 days so no data until mid February. We have to be patient and understand that the people making decisions are extremely motivated to get the information out ASAP. They can’t take any chances that could allow someone like Nissen to find a fault to attack the credibility. As we learned from Reduce-it, there are people who will stop at nothing to discredit good data for personal gain.
