#246996 RE: Steve43 #246993

In the end SALES will be the determining stat that will move the price of the stock. Has always been that way in the stock market. Sales and profitability. A CEO can tweet, PR, whatever he/she desires and yes, that will move the stock price temporarily, but financial statements are what 'investors' want to see. 'Traders', not so much. Trader or investor? There is a big difference. Neither is the right or the wrong way to make money. A CEO can try like heck with his/her tweets and PR"s, to get stockholders and other investors excited about their company, BUT that is short lived until the financials come out. When THAT happens it tells investors the TRUE success or failure of the company. So for this investor, tweets are fine and I do welcome them, but I do not get excited until I see those positive projecting 'tweets' as factual. Factual when I can see them on the financials. Until that time, investing here, more than others, is a gamble. Like it or not IMO that is fact. If/when we DO see success in the financials and we DO get profitable, then the market will see this as less of a gamble or maybe a damn good chance of making money as an investment. That will then hopefully move the stock price in the direction we wish.
