Now, let's remember our friend correctly, Cincinnatus. He was Terry Hallinan (Must say, you do sound like might be cut from some of the same cloth.)

LWLG Dummies Elevator Pitch 2021

The world is consuming data at a rate that is Crazy! Remember 25 years ago all the data of a 6 Billion dollar corporation took about 1 Gigabyte of data and would be transmitted at 56 kilobits per second over copper phone line and took 38 hours to transfer. Today 5 Minutes of video uses about 1 Gig and can be transmitted in about 1 second. This sounds fast until you realize that many of us are monitoring our Dog, Adjusting the temperature in our home, Closing the Garage Door, Using Google Maps, Monitoring the stock Market, Looking at posts, Zoom Meetings, Ordering Our Food, Scheduling Flights, Checking Email, Paying Bills, Watching Movies And On And On. Bottom Line is that the world is going faster and faster.

Remember that Not only does this data need to be transmitted but the data centers have to move this data around, process it and send it back to us. The older crowd remembers the switch from vacuum tubes to transistors and the switch from the Copper Phone Lines to Fiber Optics. This is Precisely a Change like that!

Lightwave has developed a Plastic that can be applied directly to chips inside of a computer and switch the Electrons (that Process data) directly to a Laser and at a speed that is about 100 Gbps. Todays Devices are for the most part 25 Gbps, require a booster (driver) to increase the voltage and in order to create 100 Gig they use 4 devices mounted side by side or something called PAM4 that doubles the data so a 25 Gig running PAM4 can transmit at 50 Gig so 2 - PAM4s can create a 100Gig. Data running PAM4 is more sensitive so error correction must be performed. Crazy but 1 of the solutions the industry is thinking about going forward is 16 x 25 Gig to reach 400 Gbps.

Remember that data centers use a lot of Energy and about ½ of the electricity is used to remove the heat, (power plants produce co2, Global Warming and is expensive). So if the solution is 16x25 Heat Producing Widgets with Drivers they will cost 16 times X and they will use 16 times more Electricity and Produce 16 Times More Heat, Requiring 16 Times more A.C. tonnage etc…

The industry wants something that is CHEAP and Fast. Lightwaves Polymer is compatible with todays materials so Hybrid chips can be produced. Oh and they just received a Patent on a Direct Drive Modulator which covers All High Performance Polymers So even if someone invents another Polymer they have to play ball with Lightwave.

One of the Problems in the Past with Polymers was Stability, to that end Lightwave just received a patent on Sealing with semiconductor/metal lid and last month developed a polymer material to seal the device from the environment. The first is a patent the second so far is proprietary. The CEO of Lightwave is a very forward looking patent creating machine (Just inducted in the Grand Puba’s Invertors Hall of Fame) he is working with Fred Leonberger who is credited as being the inventor of todays technology, He’s a very quiet who’s who Dude of Dudes in the industry.

Because Lightwave materials are not available on the open market anyone wanting to try it must play ball with Lightwave or create their own polymer (but the patents filed will force them back here). There are many Companies operating under a Nondisclosure Agreement so they are not allowed to discuss it. Remember that It took about 25 years for the concept of the transistor to move to production, I’ve been hanging around here for almost that long. I think we are getting close, but I’ve said that for 20 years now, lol.

I know,, how about Elon Musk stepping up buying Lightwave Logic, Speed Up the Data centers, Save Electricity (which can be used to power Electric cars) Process the Data for the Driverless Cars, Reduce the co2, Direct the Unmanned Space-X rockets to deliver Ice to the North Pole to save the Polar Bears, Reduce DUI Accidents, Solve Pandemics Faster, Have Groceries ordered directly from your Cabinets and Fridge AND Delivered all without humans. Most could just sit at home all day and do nothing like during a pandemic. Hmmm On Second thought I’m not sure this is where we want to go.

Xster

It will be taken over, IMO there will a bidding war or a consortium.
