Specificity is not a particular issue because normal brain cells do not divide.

This tech has nothing at all to do with electric stimulation. It does not use current (within the brain) at all. It uses an electric field that prevents certain proteins needed in cell division from correctly aligning.

I posted this before, that I listened to a presentation by a doctor who treats GBM with radiation.

This doctor was asked about the headgear approach and he attributed benefit to the fields somehow slowing down the movement of GBM cells. He also attributed his success with radiation to impeding the movement of GBM cells by using the radiation to impede the paths the tumor cells would travel. The cells move from areas they already assimilated nutrients from to new more nutrient enriched areas of the brain.

This presentation was one in a series sponsored by Al (can’t remember his last name) is it Masini? The same Al that has been interested in dcvax for his GBM research sponsoring group. I’m fuzzy on this recollection so bear with a little possibly inaccurate info.
