Portrait and Landscape Apps will not go away.

All the foldable so far can satisfy one way or another.

None so far can satisfy both.

In an ideal world, two rollable devices (such as OPPO X2021) that is hinged together (inward/outward) will solve all problems. Apple would not have to pick one of two choices for production. Instead it will be one single device that serves both.

IMAGINE a device that does following:

Folds to size of RAZR to fit in your pocket nicely
Stretch side ways to become a netbook
folds in stretch mode to become a portrait/landscape single handheld camera

Remember Steve Job introduction of iPhone

Well, today, we’re introducing three revolutionary products of this class.

The first one: is a widescreen iPod with touch controls.

The second: is a revolutionary mobile phone.

And the third is a breakthrough Internet communications device.

So, three things: a widescreen iPod with touch controls; a revolutionary mobile phone; and a breakthrough Internet communications device.

An iPod, a phone, and an Internet communicator. An iPod, a phone … Are you getting it?

These are not three separate devices, this is one device, and we are calling it iPhone.

Yeah, and remember the BIG BOOM we were to experience once the world found out that APPLE was using this disruptive material called Liquidmetal ?

Just another fairy tale flushed away into the sewers of all HOPES and WISHES that seem to surface around here on a daily basis.

Professor LI ? ... we are over here .. please throw us a bone that is not just a wordsmith bunch of false hope.
