No Chuck..........you are wrong. Unmanaged debt and unserviceable debt is a huge negative to intelligent investors. AT&T has the largest debt load of any company on the planet and yet they pay one of the highest dividends anywhere. Debt does cause one to investigate further, but it in no way is a deal killer.
Yes, it must be managed. Yes it must be controlled.
