I worked for biotech company for 25+ years. Company had 3 compounds and did three P3 trials at that time. I can tell you, if data is bad, company needs to release it IMMEDIATELY. At that time, I was forced to stay at hotel without my phone with me (phone needs to be turned off and someone keeps it at safety place) and can not leave hotel for that 2 days. I was in the hotel conference room and waiting for the data. All the top executives were there in that room as well. We received the data and started to prepare the press release for next day. We are not allowed to leave hotel until next day morning.
All I said is 100% true. Whole process needs to compliance with SEC rules.
Bottom line is, you can not HIDE IT IF you have negative data! Period.
