Please, that is incorrect. It`s the trade date. If I buy or sell a stock on Dec. 31, 2020. That trade is registered on Dec. 31. The day the action to place. Please check with your Broker or Accountant. I just got off the phone with my accountant and she confirmed it`s the trade date, not the settlement date. Oh! Happy New Year!

That's not right....you can be the last trade of the year and it will for 2020.
