Coreton, I don't disagree. Excellent analysis. A good appeals lawyer that would give them even a puncher's chance will be $250,000 which based on the fact that they screwed 2 attorneys will be paid up front.

The easiest solution is to sell their products through a 3rd party distributor, the sale of their products to the 3rd party ( could be a wholesale company ) take place in Brazil.

Then tell Bilky to wallpaper his home with the judgement

Good luck trying to appeal a default judgement, lost for not participating in the proceedings.

I would just add that if judgment comes in favor of GDSI, it not only comes as a result of defendants not participating in the proceedings... but on the fact that they purposefully sought to undermine the whole process in bad faith.

This is what makes this case so exceptional.

The odds are in favor of GDSI because defendants have acted in bad faith. Pure and simple.

This is an important distinction people need to bear in mind.

No one suggested appealing a Default Judgement. Any Judgement will become a Foreign Judgement in Brazil.

Why do people think GDSI will receive money anytime soon, if at all?

It's a very long road through Brazil.
