A lot of non-professional golfers don’t pay attention to all the rules and regulations set forth by the PGA. The liquidmetal clubs drove the ball 20 or more yards further. In that respect, they were worth the expense. But the clubs shattered at the point at which the shaft met the club head. Remember that the G in BMG stands for Glass. The hosel tended to shatter like glass when the ball was struck soundly. Was that due to poor club design, or was that because the clubs were made using an old formula before scientists fixed the shatter problem by using better formulas to make BMGs? I don’t know.

For the record....I bought the LQMT driver many moons ago. Drives def went further. Only problem was after about a year and a half the club went dead. Drives became average...the distance was gone. I chalked it up to the head having a micro crack in it somewhere.
