I can’t prove a negative. Do you have anything to back up what you have? That’s not sarcasm...if the success rate is that high, it would boost my confidence.
So the 96% comes from a Inspector General report that was compiled in 2019. The report was looking at medicare reimburse and what % of drugs that were reimbursed were FDA approved VS: unapproved.
So its not that "if the drug got a code it got approved". It was that "96% of drugs that were paid by medicare were approved drugs"
If you read all the conclusives--it actually could be 99% , as the investigation could only find 1% of medicare payments were for unapproved drugs===>>> so 96% + 1% is 97%. That leaves 3% of drug reimburse that were unknown due to the lag in report date (2019) and year investigated (2016)
