Very very fortunate for you guys!!! The manger of the Rio Grande National Forest told us that 90% of physical encounters with moose result in a fatality. AND I'll betcha that when you and the bull locked on eye contact, it was like the first time you were at the top of a Double Black Diamond ski run ready to jump in the bowl and you thought to yourself, this is the MOMENT OF TRUTH!!!!
