As to Larry Bird: I was courtside/center court for that Sonics game he hit the game winner over Xavier. I had a $500 bet on the game, but the asshole I bet didn't pay.

I was 3 rows up, right behind Lakers bench for game 7 in Boston Garden, 1984.... Sweet win. I'm from Seattle, but was a huge Bird fan.
