Historical data that has not previously been part of their accounting system

Is it possible that Flaskworks accounted for various items in a way over the years that NWBO decided would be best to restate Flaskworks’ prior filings? If so, are there situations in which they’d want to go back to the raw data and recalculate the numbers?

I’m not an accountant by any stretch but I can envision Flaskworks pulling out a box that contains scraps of yellow legal paper with raw data on it from years ago. In any case, it might to be so straightforward to merge the two systems/statements.

Is something like this a realistic possibility?
