The lawsuit that LP said was a big deal was was actually between Cognate and Alan Smith. Smith already won and collected his back salary. LP's counter suit on intellectual theft had been dismissed by then.

MacoCure (the company K Wolf ws on the BOD of) does not and did not compete with NWBO. They likely do or did compete with LP's blood bank. But NWBO would not have any confidential information on other Cognate customers.

So at worst the conflict of interest would be that she was on the BOD of a company that competed with a company that used the same contract manufacturer as NWBO. Under that standard, almost anybody will have a conflict somehow.

As to how it worked out, LP has been at the 1 yard line for years now. And has sold off 90% of the company a bit at a time since then. While putting virtually nothing into further trials.
