The all important "Volume Weighted Average Price" or VWAP. You are 100% correct. The VWAP is everyone's friend, when buying or selling, short or long term, day-trader or mid/ long term investor. It is one of the most important variables if using TA for entry into a position or exit out of a position. I hate over-paying and the VWAP just about 80% of the time insures that never happens.
