#38 RE: Ted Ohashi #37

Hi Ted, (I feel like I'm replying to myself when I say Ted)

Anyway, thank you for your brutally detailed response lol. In all seriousness, it was very comprehensive and I appreciate that effort. As I read your response, I began to think to myself "that's not what I meant when I said...", and you furthered some of your points with additional commentary that you didn't include in the video. For example- vaccination compliance or, more appropriately, the lack thereof. By the way, I'm intimately familiar with this particular situation involving other mandated vaccine protocols required of healthcare workers having spent my entire professional career in medicine in a hospital setting. But then you might argue, yes, but those debates involve established vaccines and so on and so on- But that's when I realized that's an easy first step to getting bogged down in minutiae and that's also when I recalled your first sentence "One of the problems with verbal communication is the difference between (what I thought) I said and (what you thought) you heard."

So, rather than spend a lot of time debating point by point and getting lost in the weeds, I'm just going to go with your own self-assessment of you actually being more "cautious" rather than "negative". Likewise, I can fully embrace the fact that I approach life as a more of a glass half-full kind of guy which influences my impressions as well as outlook and leave it at that. We can both reassess the situation and come back at a later date when events and/or impact dates have been fulfilled.

Thanks again Ted and looking forward to future episodes! One thing I think we can be both agree to 100% is your statement: It is always beneficial to exchange good ideas and expose both sides of the argument.
