You caught me in a bit of clickbaity sin... I have to dial up the drama a bit to get people to click on the video on the dark void that is YouTube.

I think your assessment of Clem's position is correct. He presented more evidence for what is probably a regular 'ol bear market as the situation cools off.

As a new investor, I am not quite sure what I am hoping for. I've began my investing journey in this weird and crazy pumped market. The money I have invested in various things would like to see the market continue to rise, but in my heart I would like to see the situation pull back. Investing for the long term feels dangerous.

"Strategy for the Upcoming Market Crash"

After watching the video, my impression and only beef is that the title above seems hyperbolic imo. Clem does a nice job of laying out his reasons for liquidating his portfolio as well as his lament- I quote him; "Sell in May, go away and come back in September on St. Leger's Day"(sic).

While I share many of his thoughts and concerns about the current status of the market, I have to disagree with the notion of an imminent "crash". Everything he laid out for a ("bear") market re-balancing and or correction, however, is spot on imo. He talks about how the sell-off Monday and the subsequent snap-back the past couple of days has yet, as he points out, brought his portfolio close to the pre sell-off value. I experienced the same thing with my portfolio. That is the type of bear scenario I also see playing out given that there really is no other vehicle or safe haven to park and protect your money, i.e., bonds. For that reason I doubt the inevitability of a "crash" as the title seems to suggest. I posit that the lack of alternative investment options forces investors to remain in the market or go strictly into cash- which they are loath to do but will do gradually (drops and snap-backs) and not suddenly as in a "crash". Instead, it turns into a slow-motion train wreck.

I know- potato, potahto... But the term "market crash" seems a bit overblown and is what I have trouble accepting. Having said all that, passage of the Left's gazillion dollar bar tab for free drinks on the house for everyone changes everything- and there I see a total market collapse in the offing. As Clem said though, I hope I'm (we're) wrong

I resent that, I'll have you know that none of our 30 viewers are from my mother. I was grown in a jar in my universities communications department and that jar had no internet connection at all.

Andrew (communications undergrad guy), now there is a solid idea for you. Interview DAVID RUSSELL FOLEY, USBOP Inmate No. 13141-111. He is the CEO of the NTEK and NTGL blown pennyscams and is both charged by the SEC for securities fraud and separately indicted by the DOJ on multiple counts of same and other crimes.

Plus he is a megalomaniacal narcissist and pathological liar, thus he is likely to agree to be interviewed for a Youtoob episode or five, and especially so if his interviewer lacks any real financial market or finance or legal knowledge.

I think you can book him. He's been booked (and incarcerated) many times before.

On a different subject, I think this board and the Youtoob 'channel' (if that is what you are calling it) ought to be renamed from Market Vision to something a bit more catchy - like Market Bison or maybe Live Nude Girls Playing Volleyball Channel.

I'm just trying to help bail this sinking ship. Something has to be done. Seeing videos with only 30 views after months on Youtoob is just overwhelmingly sad. Moreso when one realizes that most of those 30 views are likely from your mom, other iHub employees, or those of us who like to gawk at car accidents and train wrecks.

Time has shown that iHub has failed at promoting Market Vision viewership, and Market Vision has failed at promoting iHub subscribers/usuers/posting/reading/Alexa ranking (which continues to decline).

Yet again I must renew my call for you (Andrew) to step or be pushed aside and Donald Baillargeon be brought in as the replacement host/pitcher. Perhaps Andrew could remain in a backup role and learn the ropes from Donald Baillargeon.

And offer PlusOne coins to anyone who views the Market Vision Youtube videos. For 25 PlusOne, I would be willing to open a tab on my browser and let a muted Market Vision video play while I surfed elsewhere in other open tabs or shockingly did some actual meaningful work. At least that would boost your views on YT and help build a better prominence on YT. And PlusOne coins are free for Clem to issue.
