certainly the market is composed of people who have different ideas about the proper value of the company -- over time the majority opinion (in terms of shares) is the one that sets 'agreed upon' price/valuation. There really is no reason to suspect collusion or other conspiracy theories, certainly not for anything other that the very short term.
