At the very least I think an explanation from Brian is due. It's becoming increasingly clear there is a problem with the shell. A name change is not that big of deal for the nvsos to handle in a timely manner.
I don't know what the disclosure rules are for such a thing, but it would be interesting to ask the nvsos what's going on. Namely, if there really is an application on file.
