Ah but you forget about the deliberate cultivation of the “any day now” outlook. By hinting and switching shareholders are kept from feeling in safe in doing what you suggest. I know better and knew in my heart we weren’t going to hold $2.50 but I just could not bring myself to sell and buy in cheaply when the gains were inevitably given up. I should have listened to history but didn’t.
