That’s how I once described the difference between DCVAx-l and 1st generation t-cell therapy. Dr. Bosch said, outside of a few areas like B cell lymphoma, researchers arn’t advanced enough yet to safely and effectively force the immune system to do something it would not otherwise normally ‘want’ to do. Another way to put this is you can wipe out all of the body’s B cells to get rid of B cell cancer, but you can’t wipe out all brain cells to get rid brain cell cancer. Therefore, instead of forcing the immune system to do something, you help it get better at what it was intended to do.
