Dana Farber Brigham's Women's Hospital (Harvard) Just received a highly prestigeous $15,000,000.00 dollar grant. Although this project is focused on Ovarian cancer. One of the lead candidates is a vaccine. The vaccine was reffered to as a neoantigen based vaccine. The vaccine was described as capable of generating an immune response to 20,000 different antigens specific to cancer. While listening to one of Linda Liau's lectures on DVax L she to mentioned that cancers have 20,000 specific antgen sites.
