Some information is accurate, some way off.
A few good people owned billions of shares over the years, before April 2019. Some were prepared to consider investing more $$$. Some have much, much less stock now, making the idea of takeover groups comedic. There was no discussion of takeover ambitions or forming a group.
A few people were prepared to help financially to help manage to success without compensation, but the former CEO family shareholdings would have remained intact, unless agreement was reached by normal consensus to modify the situation. The proposal was rejected, in the same manner saying "no" to most everything had become familiar. Clearly, there has been speculation, all of it wrong. Then, sadly, but fortunately for stockholders, things changed a few months later and thankfully a new management team was formed and I have been a great supporter of that team since and BIEL seems on its way to success.
Many stockholders did average down substantially over many years, having lost >90% of their investment value, as a result of delays, outrageous decisions and poor management. Keep in mind, the only way to sell a lot of stock is a tiny bit at a time, over a long period, so as to minimally affect a lightly traded and fragile situation and preserve some value.
Also keep in mind that most, if not all, those investors holding shares issued as a result of converting notes have taken incredible haircuts of 50% or more, after investing good money to help BIEL, resulting in bitterness. Has anyone replaced any? I have no idea.
I'll hold what I have left, remaining confident that BIEL will be in the pennies, because of ActiPatch, providing the share structure is fixed. If not, I'm ok, thankfully, with very little exposure now. I had reached my limit of patience before April 2019 after Dr. Scholl's, CVS and KT Tape - there were others. It is a new BIEL era and I'm sleepin like a baby.
