Thanks! Had surgery in Nov '12, so it's been 8 years and I am in remission. My pancreas no longer produces digestive enzymes, so I take Creon which is an artificial digestive enzyme made from pig's pancreas's. Always a challenge with taking the correct dosage. Suppose to be on a low fat diet, but stray from that more often than I should. I just increase the Creon dosage with high fat meals, but still suffer some consequences. Most people lose lower 1/3 of their stomach and pyloric valve during Whipple surgery (I did) -- that creates other diet challenges. Overall, my quality of life is good and I am happily surprised to still be alive!
