JT sold out 567405/75000

JT kept 182595/750000

We can spin that headline many ways but the basic way to slice it is that his gigantic sale alongside is ugly because of the 0.60 share price difference. Scary to think John "JG Wentworth" Thero said "it's my money, and I need it now!" and he couldn't spare a some chump change to add those shares.

I did the math, it cost JT at least $232,842 to "add" those shares. Basic math being $2.55 million total cost offset by $2.2 million in shares sold. JT could have bought all 750K for damn certain and it would have been a tremendous sign of confidence. I'm fairly confident he has that much in the bank from the past 2 years of stock sales that he could have bought them in cash, no mortgage required. Unless he sucks at budgeting.

Is this better than selling 100%? Absolutely. Is this sub-optimal? Absolutely.

My opinion remains unchanged. John "Blood from a Stone" Thero is willing to squeeze blood from a stone because it's "free" instead of walking 50 feet to the watering hole and taking some damn speaking lessons.
