Yep. They should have been ready with contingency for posters/abtracts. If data wasn't ready by last Friday and they were pulling back on those events, they could easily have said something. How would that hurt? It wouldn't, and they have promised updates and have now stopped. Does that mean topline is imminent? We don't know. Does that mean they have the data? We don't know. Does that mean they don't have the data? We don't know.
Simple update like this would be easy: "We were optimistic about having unblinded topline results in time and didn't quite get there. Company is now unblinded and we are pressing forward with our analyses and expect to report topline sometime before the end of November."
