Actually very few are selling ahead of the news and that imo is why we see the swings, down more than up on days. The MM’s task is to create a market so if no dilution, no one is selling, then he/she drops the stock takjng out the stop losses and creates liquidity causing day traders to buy in again. Its not a bad thing unless they exaggerate the market in either direction like the run to $14 and the drop to $1.80 ish, imo.
